Safety and Security

Pilot Training

The proficiency of a pilot should not be taken for granted. FAA regulations require training, but many certified air carriers do this training in-house and sign off the training internally.

PROJETS INTERNATIONAL contracts with FLIGHT SAFETY to independently certify flight crews. Every in-flight scenario is practiced until the flight crew skills are honed to perfection. Many of these maneuvers cannot be practiced in the real airplane and can only be accomplished in a full motion simulator. Each captain must prove themselves every 6 months.

Aircraft Maintenance

All aircraft are inspected and maintained by FAA Certified Repair Stations to the standards recommended by the aircraft manufacturer. In addition, a FAA Approved Inspection Program (AAIP) is followed which ensures added equipment is included. It is possible to satisfy regulations by allowing individual mechanics to maintain the airplanes, but not at PROJETS.

Independent Audits

Some customers require an audit, independent of the FAA. These inspections go beyond what is regulated and encompass details of training, operational procedures, and maintenance. Our facility is visited for the purpose of these inspections about four times yearly.

Security

To maintain security one must "think" security. All employees are included in our company specific security program. Pilots, line service, technicians, dispatchers, and office personnel work together to keep facilities and flights secure. Also, as a large aircraft operator, we operate under a TSA approved security program.
